Ayr seafront with its long promenade offers those who enjoy a walk by the sea a chance to stretch their legs and catch a glimpse of the Isle of Arran. This picturesque island, a mere one-hour ferry hop from Ardrossan offers visitors an opportunity to experience Scotland in miniature.

The city of Glasgow with its many museums and galleries including The Burrell Collection is just a 50-minute drive away. While capital city Edinburgh, with its iconic landmarks and architecture including Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Park, also offers fantastic visitor experiences.
