What's on. Green Market and Repair Clinic
Dumfries House will be holding a Green Market and Repair Clinic as part of the Sunday Farmer's Market on the 21st April.
The Repair Clinic will run on a drop off basis and the team will carry out minor repairs such as mending hems, buttons and tears. If you wish a replacement zip, please bring a new zip with you.
Small electrical items can also be repaired, such as hairdryers, kettles and irons. These services will be offered on a donation basis and funds raised will be used to purchase equipment for our vocational training programmes in sewing and traditional building crafts.
Please visit The Textile Centre in the old Sawmill Building for our Repair Clinic.
In addition to the Repair Market there will be a Green Market where you can purchase sustainable products. Stallholders are as follows
Foxes and Lanterns
Plastic free household cleaning products.
Tweed and woold home accessories using end of roll of fabric destined for landfill, created by Toni Roddie.
Linen home products using fabric rescued from landfill.
Printed vintage clothing and accessories from salvaged fashion garments that cannot be sold intact.
Time: 11.00am - 4.00pm
