What's on. An Evening From The West End

Some of the UK’s best-loved performers will descend on Dumfries House for a two-night run of shows in March next year.

X Factor stars Sam Bailey and Nicholas McDonald will perform at An Evening From The West End at Dumfries House alongside Ryan Molloy, star of the West End, Broadway, and The Royal Variety Show who played Frankie Valli in The Jersey Boys in London and New York.

Bailey was X Factor winner in 2013 and attained UK Top 40 Christmas No.1 that year, while McDonald, from Wishaw, finished runner-up on the show in the same year.

Last year’s show at the estate near Cumnock featured Ayrshire’s own Jai McDowell and West End leading lady Kerry Ellis, with tickets selling out in less than a week. Tickets for next year’s run, on March 13 and 14, go on sale on Monday (November 25), with information on how to purchase to be published on Dumfries House’s social media channels.

Tickets are available at £22 for the show which can be purchased here. Alternative packages, which include show tickets, can be booked by phoning Dumfries House on 01290 429 913, with £59 briefs including a three-course pre-concert banquet and £90 tickets including a champagne meet-and-greet with the performers in addition to the meal and show. Accommodation at the estate’s five-star bed and breakfast Dumfries House Lodge is also available to ticket-holders at preferential rates.

Evan Samson, hospitality manager at Dumfries House, said: “Following the success of our ‘West End’ event earlier this year, we’re delighted to bring three top names to East Ayrshire in Sam, Nicholas, and Ryan, whom we’re sure will wow the crowds.”
