Easter Baking

Learn how to make the perfect yeast & spiced infused sweet bread hot cross bun with a traditional batter mix for a Simnel cake to turn into a delicious modern cupcake with all the spices & dried fruit you associate with the coming of Easter celebration.

Mark Making with Textiles: Embroidery and Heat Transfer

This workshop looks at heat transfer and ribbon embroidery to create an abstract design and create your own embellished fabric. The design can be taken from the March make it Monday watercolour workshop or it can be directly from source on the evening. This is a good follow on workshop from our watercolour however you do not have to attend both to take part in the workshop.

Bunny Felt Bag for Easter Egg Hunt

This is perfect to make as a gift for young kids to create an Easter egg hunt. Using a mixture of hand and machine embroidery to create a small felt bag with an Easter bunny design.

Stone Carving and Lettering (Week 2 of 3)

An introduction to the art of stone carving from our experts on the Estate. Learn how to take a simple block of stone and carve a letter or number of your choice. Choose whether you would like to book one, two or three sessions giving you the opportunity to create a more personalised piece. You will get experience of using chisels and a mallet to carve your block of stone. You will have examples from previous craft projects to inspire you along with guidance from your tutor. You will be able to take your carved letter home to show your efforts to your friends and family. Please give instructions on what you would like to carve and templates will be ready for you arriving at the workshops.
