Spring 2024 Curriculum now booking
Our Spring curriculum is now open for booking at the links below. Whether you are hoping to explore electricity at the STEM centre or explore seasonal food at the education garden, there will be something to amaze and excite your pupils!
Pupil Numbers
We can accomodate a maximum of 32 pupils per booking (12 for Future Textiles programmes), this ensures we keep the quality of our pupil engagement high and enables us to work closely with each pupil throughout the day. This applies for single or split centre bookings. For groups of more than 32 pupils you will need to make multiple bookings, so will need to book dates when multiple centres are avaliable.
Workshop Costs
We charge a £4.50 per pupil, per day, fee to cover the costs of our materials for Primary School workshops and activities. In the majority of cases our Secondary School workshops are free of charge. See our Curriculum Documents below for more information on our charges.

All available School and Future Textiles day visit dates, up until April, can be found at the booking links below. Unfortunately if your preferred date is not listed it is no longer available. For multi-day programmes, or Secondary School Bookings contact dh.education@kings-foundation.org for availability.
School Evaluation
If you have recently been on a school visit to Dumfries House, don't forget to fill out our day-visit evaluation form here. Teachers that fill out an evaluation form following a completed visit will be entered into a draw to win a free visit to the estate for their class, including transport. (Maximum of 30 people including accompanying staff)
