Dumfries House named the RHS Partner Garden of the Year 2025
The Dumfries House estate has been named the Overall and Scotland Winner in the 2025 RHS Partner Garden of the Year competition.
At Dumfries House, the headquarters of The King’s Foundation charity, we manage over 600 acres of gardens with thousands of beautiful trees, plants and shrubs – all cared for sustainably by our dedicated gardens team. Our gardens are open to the public all year round, with many of them free to access.
“The Queen Elizabeth II Walled Garden is stunning and calming at the same time. This year it is full of fruit and vegetables in a bumper season. The Maguire Arboretum is wonderful, a pearl in an amazing estate, the perfect Partner Garden for the RHS.”

The competition is a great chance to shine a spotlight on the spaces that truly connect with people and inspire a love of gardening.
A huge thank you to everyone who voted for Dumfries House!
