Woodlands Restaurant
Nestled in the beautiful woodlands on the estate, our Woodlands Restaurant offers a range of delicious dishes using fresh and locally-sourced ingredients, including seasonal vegetables from our own garden.
About the Restaurant
The Woodlands Restaurant is located next to the Craft and Textiles education centres, just a short walk from our Visitor Car Park. It is part of our Hospitality Training Centre, where our hospitality students study front-of-house and chef skills.
Throughout the year we host Sunday Lunches at the Restaurant. We also run ‘Live Lunches’ where our hospitality students practice their skills to a full restaurant of guests. Keep an eye on our Dumfries House social media channels for updates.
