We’re delighted to open the farm gates and invite families along to our Farm Tours, taking place at Valentin’s Education Farm, on Dumfries House Estate. Guests will have the chance to meet our rare breed animals and say hello to the chicks.
Led by our farm team, this relaxed, hands-on visit is the perfect way for families to enjoy the September break together. Children and adults will meet the animals who call Valentin’s Farm their home, learn more about life on a working farm and make special memories.
Tours last approximately one hour.
Tickets are available for Adults and Children priced at £13 (16 and over) and £8.50 (aged 5-15). Children aged 4 and under are free.
Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult, with a minimum of one adult for every three children under the age of 10.
In the interest of hygiene, food and drink will not be allowed during the tour.

Accessibility
Please note that while our farm tour has no steps, the terrain is naturally uneven and can be “boggy” in places, especially during wet weather. Pathways are primarily gravel, which may be challenging for wheelchairs, mobility aids, and pushchairs. Visitors are very welcome to use these if they wish, but we want everyone to be aware that access may be difficult in parts of the route.
