Dates

Sunday 19th July

The Fun Dog Show is back at Dumfries House, this year in support of Armed Forces Day, organised by The King’s Foundation and Bravehound.

Join us on Sunday 19 July, for what promises to be a lovely day for dog lovers, families and four-legged friends.

This popular event celebrates the unique personalities and talents of our canine companions in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Firm favourite categories, “Best Puppy” and “Best Sausage Catcher” will feature, alongside opportunities to put your dog through their paces in our fun agility course.

In recognition of Armed Forces Day, this year’s show will introduce a selection of new classes, including “Most Aerodynamic Ears”, “Best Salute” and “Still Game…Best Veteran (Over 8 Years Old)”.

Visitors can enjoy canine-inspired market stalls and the Dumfries House Sunday Market.

Entries for the Dog Show: £3 per class online or £4 on the day

All profits from ticket sales will go to the Pet Blood Bank UK, a charity that provides lifesaving blood products for dogs. Much like human blood donation, healthy dogs can donate blood, which is then supplied to veterinary practices across the country to help treat sick or injured pets in emergencies.
