The King's Foundation's STEM team at Dumfries House is delighted to offer a 5-day STEM Environment Club for children aged 8-15 years old. Explore Dumfries House Estate's wild spaces, through a scientific eye. Running from 10.30am until 12.30pm on Thursdays during the school holidays, we will take a sneak peek beneath the surface of our rivers and ponds, get to know our ancient trees a little better, carry out some chemistry in our garden and explore minibeasts under the microscope. Children will spend 5 days with our STEM education team discovering the biodiversity of our estate and how we can use science to understand it a little better.

No parental supervision is required for this 5-day club, for the duration of the activity children will be in the care of our STEM Education team.

Additional information

Please note that the majority of this workshop will take place outdoors and as such children should attend ready for the weather. The cost of this 5-day workshop is £40, payable at time of booking. We cannot issue refunds should you then be unable to attend.
