One of our oldest initiatives at Dumfries House is our 6-week Introduction to Hospitality Course. Delivered in partnership with The King's Foundation, this course allows young people the opportunity to develop front of house and kitchen skills linked directly to employment. Certificates in food hygiene and barista skills are included in the course, and students also take part in a work placement as part of their programme.

On Thursday 10th and 17th of October 2024, we are delighted to showcase the skills this years cohort have developed by hosting a Live Lunch in the Rothesay Room at Dumfries House. The 2 course lunch with coffee will all be cooked and served by students on the course, and we'd love to have as many people as possible come to support them.
