With thanks to a PPCL donation we have been able to welcome Glenafton Athletic Youth Football team to the estate to make use of our Indoor Sports Centre, giving them the opportunity to train once a week for 2 hours completely free of charge. We have also been able to offer them transport to and from the estate to make sure the children can always make it to the venue regardless of weather or circumstances along with their parents/guardians.

HRH The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay spoke to Peter Stewart the leader and organiser of the Glenafton Athletic Youth Football team during the grand opening of the hall. The team have been attending the Tamar Manoukian Sports Centre now for the past 5 weeks and are loving the size of the facility and the equipment at their disposal. Items they were sadly lacking for their training sessions beforehand. We make sure for each session they have Balls, Cones, Markers and Goals all set up ready for their arrival at 6pm.
