Health and Wellbeing Centre
Our Health and Wellbeing Centre on the estate provides courses and therapies to support NHS treatment alongside opportunities to access nature.
About our King’s Foundation Health and Wellbeing Centre
At our purpose-built Health and Wellbeing Centre, we offer programmes for living with pain, diabetes and weight management, fertility wellbeing and menopause, alongside events and workshops including yoga and mindfulness.
“We joined the fertility wellbeing programme at Dumfries House while we were undergoing fertility treatment in Glasgow. It gave us an opportunity to explore a range of complementary therapies, such as reflexology and acupuncture, as well as meet couples who were dealing with the same issues as us.
“We feel so lucky to have Belle now – she’s such a happy, inquisitive baby – but the fertility programme at Dumfries House would have been a great support regardless of the outcome.”
– Maxine and David
A holistic approach
The aim of our programmes is to augment conventional treatments with complementary therapies offering a holistic approach which takes into account physical health and emotional wellbeing.
Through our programmes, we help people to slow down and reconnect with nature in the beautiful surroundings of the Dumfries House estate.
