Introducing The King’s Hall

Our new wedding and events space at Dumfries House is under construction and is now open for bookings, ready to host weddings from July 2027. Hosting up to 200 guests, the elegant extension to Dumfries House will be the perfect fit for your dream wedding.

Accommodation

The Dumfries House Lodge, our luxury on-site accommodation, is a five-star country guest house offering guest rooms and self-catering accommodation.

Each room has been carefully and individually designed to echo features of Dumfries House itself, and is the ideal accommodation for your wedding party.

About the Lodge

Dining

The food we use, prepare and present is key to our beautiful weddings. We have our own highly experienced full-time staff who deliver a delicious range of menus and dishes.

We use locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients wherever possible, including produce from our own kitchen garden on the estate.

Pre-wedding celebrations

We also facilitate pre-wedding dinners on the estate – whether you’d like a dinner in the Library or barbecues up at the Walled Garden Pavilion, our team will talk you through the different options available.
